Wow, this is where the Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton people meet, but most folks from the cities do not know this land is here with a great new state lake at Paint Creek where you can boat, swim, fish, hunt, water-ski and whatever else you want to do in an incredible unknown lake in the country.
You can get your provisions in the town of Greenfield, and a Big Mac attack can be treated.
For highways, you are just north of US 50 which goes from Cincinnati to Athens. You are close to the small town of Bournville and not far from Chillicothe.
The property itself is for folks who like high places. The driveway goes up and up until you reach a plateau suitable for a cabin including views of Paint Creek Valley, with a series of crop, cattle ad horse farms. If you like farms, you will like this spot.
Cypress Hill @ 1296' above sea level elevation is near this property, which has nearly the same elevation. This property is so high that you feel above the road so far that it doesn't seem to be a road at all. Currently, there is very little traffic on it anyhow.
The property goes up to the south in two steps. The first step seems high until you get to the top step, which seems in the sky! You could sled down the long hill and have about a 200' change in elevation from the top to the gate.
If you after the deer, there is a farm next door to the Southwest that is raising crops for the deer coming out of your woods.
If you like water sports, you can go a few minutes over to Paint Creek Lake, and you can keep your boat there at the marina. The hunting and fishing there is superb. The horsepower over there can be whatever you want, as it is a big lake. However most of the neighbors have a little boat for fishing.
